Flood: Dangote committee to raise N100bn

The Presidential Committee on Flood Relief and Rehabilitation co-chaired by the business mogul, Aliko Dangote and legal luminary, Olisa Agbakoba, is set to raise about N100 billion to compliment government’s efforts at bringing succour to the victims of the recent flooding across the country. The committee said in a letter of invitation that it will hold a fund raising dinner Thursday in Abuja where prominent Nigerians will be expected to donate to the fund.Many communities were recently ravaged by flood which killed scores of people, rendered thousands of people homeless and destroyed billions of Naira worth of farmlands
