Bishop Nelly, notorious kidnap kingpin, gunned down

By JIMITOTA ONOYUME, Port HarcourtPOLICE yesterday gunned down an alleged notorious kidnap kingpin, Bishop Nelly and six other members of his gang in Ogoni area of Rivers state. The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ben Ugwuegbulam who disclosed this to newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday said the Police encountered the suspected kidnappers in a fierce gun battle at their hide out in the early hours of yesterday. He said the Police trailed them to the hide out after they kidnapped a Turkish national and staff of Rivigo construction company, Mr Biram Karakus
