Ghana’s only surviving boxer in the Olympic games, Duke Micah lost terribly on Friday in the round of 16 of the men’s flyweight 52 kg division at the ongoing Olympic games at the ExCeL - South Arena. The 20-year-old lost 5-2, 7-3, 7-3 on points to his more aggressive Irish Michael Conlan. The Ghanaian boxer's 8-19 points defeat ends Ghana’s participation in boxing after Isaac Dogbe and Suleiman Tetteh were all beaten in their first bouts while Maxwell Amponsah was disallowed to fight.
