Afriyie Acquah Repays Kwesi Appiah’s Faith With Goal

Posted On Sunday, 14th October 2012 Afriyie Acquah repaid Kwesi Appiah's confidence in him Parma youngster Afriyie Acquah justified why he deserved a late call-up for Ghana’s Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi by scoring the only goal in the 1-0 win.  The 20-year-old replaced injured Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu at the last minute and was handed a starting role. The on-loan Parma workaholic midfielder formed a nice partnership with Anthony Annan to eclipse the Flames. After four minutes, he sneaked behind the defenders to turn home Andre Ayew’s goal bound shot at the Civo Stadium in Lilongwe on Saturday afternoon.
