Sulley Muntari
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah faces a huge selection headache in midfield for Sunday’s crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
The Ghanaian coach has invited some of the world’s talented midfielders for the game which makes it difficult for him to choose the players to anchor his midfield for the game.
The return of AC Milan star midfielder Sulley Muntari comes as a massive boost for the Black Stars after he missed the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
In his absence players like Rabiu Mohammed and Mubarak Wakaso excelled which has now made them key players of the team.
The availability of ex-England youth star Emmanuel Frimpong complicates the selection issue for the coach as the Fulham has shown signs of brilliance in the training sessions of the Black Stars.
He will add to Kwadwo Asamoah and Emmnanuel Agyemang Badu who are already established players of the team having played at the 2010 World Cup and still play in the Italian top-flight.
Throw Solomon Asante and Albert Adomah into the mix and you will see that coach Appiah will find it extremely difficult in naming his four midfielders for the match.
