Flow King, Stone of Bradez fame says Ghanaian rap music is evolving very fast and getting better with time.
The rapper who was hosted by Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific) on Focus FM’s City Show said Ghanaians have also come to understand rap music such that “even my grandmother home can tell you if a rap is whack. We have come to understand that rap music goes beyond just rhymes.”
He says this understanding and ability of people of different backgrounds and generations to relate to the rap music gives the industry the prospects of a bright future.
The Machine gun rapper stone, opined that to develop Ghanaian music further, “we should not be one way but create new stuff. For instance if it’s not Azonto, people don’t like it.”
Obviously energized by the good reception of the “Machine gun flow” by Ghanaians, the Kumasi based rapper acknowledged Reggie Rockstone as Grandpa of Ghanaian rap music and explained that his endorsement of the song means a lot to the Bradez and will go a long way to affect the song positively.
DJ Scientific, who has risen to fame through his numerous celebrity interviews on the Weekend city show, Top 10@10 and brunch tyme on Focus FM crowned Stone the biggest rapper in Kumasi.
