Sarkodie is the REAL DEAL.

If you have never seen Sarkodie doing live before and you are a fan of his music and you were not at the Sarkodie Live In Concert 2012 then I truly recommend that you take the next chance you have to see him.

He is a great performer and really knows how to work the crowd. He has several hit singles that everyone (or all of his fans at least) knows and there is never a dull moment when he was performing.

It was a good cross section of artistes that ranged from PhootPrintz, to D2, to Skuulfuo, to Keche, to RnM, to Edem, to M.anifest, to Lighter, to Bradez, to Lousika who all opened the floor for BET African Act Award winner before he came on stage with the Ohia Ye Band led by Kwame Yeboah.

Sarkodie was absolutely unbelievable. His set list great. His energy and crowd interaction was phenomenal.

But the one performance that everyone was thankful was when the audience requested Sarkodie to do his ‘Illuminati’ song produced by Magnom. The die-hard fans went loud anytime it got to the chorus leaving the raps to Sarkodie.

Jayso, EL, Kemanya and Kofi B all made appearances on stage with Sarkodie.

But another highlight of the night was when Rap Sofo, Obrafour joined Sarkodie to do ‘Saa Okodie’ song. The reaction from the crowd when Obrafour walked on stage literally spoke volumes, it was electric and quite deafening.

Sarkodie did the hilarious “Azonto Fiesta” sending the crowd into raptures once more, especially when Appietus came to do his short words.

Finishing at around 2:30am, Sarkodie and his crew left the stage; thanking everyone for coming through.

Sarkodie Live In Concert  2012 was put together by Events Factory and Duncwills Entertainment.

Rating is 4/5.
