President Yoweri Museveni made changes in the cabinet and appointed new officials to some of the posts that had remained vacant. Frank Tumwebaze becomes the Minister in charge of the presidency, Ernest Kiiza is now Minister of State for Bunyoro Affairs, Tarsis Kabwegyere is the Minister of Minister of Gender, Labour & Social affairs and Richard Todwong has been appointed Minister without Portfolio in-charge of Political Mobilization. Minister in charge of Presidency and the Minister of Gender, Labor and Social affairs fell vacant after the appointed people (Syda Bbuma the former Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Affairs and Kabakumba Mastiko the former Minister of presidency resigned over allegations of corruption while the post for Minister for Bunyoro Affairs and Minister without portfolio had not been filled after parliament rejected Salah Kamba for Bunyoro Affairs and Nasser Ntege Ssebagala
